Yelcast’s exceptional talent has earned him recognitions and awards such as being a three-time semi-finalist at Metrobank National Art Competition and winning First Place at the On-the-Spot National Pastel Competition by Philippine Pastel Artist Inc. As the visionary founder of VisualPoetry Philippines and Arte Bauan, Yelcast redefines abstraction by fusing the elegance of calligraphy with poetic elements and establishing a unique and groundbreaking genre known as VisualPoetry. This innovative approach reimagines words, poetry, lyrics, and quotes, creating profound and inspiring visual narrative. For him, as an Artist, we share the RESPONSIBILITY of showing POSITIVE PERSPECTIVE and the BEAUTY OF LIFE. Our arts should always be designed to INSPIRE PEOPLE, to DREAM and to LOVE.
