“Art will never stop.”

Rowel “Wellers” Vicencio is a contemporary artist from Mandaluyong City who loves to draw and paint portraits, mood, nature, floral and sometimes into social relevance. He did some lover series before. His style of art started from brush strokes to palette knife and then to splatter-splash attached to surrealism and impressionism. Lately he‘s doing colored pencil works as a good practice. He is also fascinated doing old wood frames and put it on his paintings. Wellers had numerous awards since his younger years and studied Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technological University of the Philippines Manila. He has already joined group exhibition here and abroad in New York and in Hong Kong. Recently he held his solo show @Rockwell Place Makati. A 1st place winner of the 2012 Mandaluyong Painting Competition. He has received art recognitions from Shell‘s Nsac, Metrobank‘s Made, Nokia Art Awards, AAP-POC and PDSI figurative painting competition. A music and sport enthusiast where he use it as an inspiration to add beauty and uniqueness to his art pieces. He also teach young kids who wants to be great artists someday. A decade of conducting art lessons and tutorials. For wellers “Art will never stop”, it is his first love.
